SANTA CLARA, CA — August 18, 2010 - Four leading data center power management companies today announced a first-of-its-kind Energy Summit to be held September 9th at the Santa Clara Hilton. The half-day “Energy Savings Now” event—hosted by Federspiel Controls, Power Assure, Raritan and Teladata—will examine how to leverage advances in data center energy management.
The seminar will feature William Dunckel, senior project manager in the Customer Energy Efficiency division of Pacific, Gas & Electric. Mr. Dunckel’s keynote address will provide insights into “The Integrated System to Manage the Data Center Ecology.”

(July 26, 2010) —Raritan today announced that Victoria Zona has been recognized for the second consecutive year as one of the top Women of the Channel by Everything Channel’s CRN Magazine. This year’s Women of the Channel were chosen by the editors of CRN magazine based on their achievements as executives and the amount of influence they wield over the technology channel.

The GEIT Awards showcase organizations that are pioneering energy-efficiency improvements in their IT and data center operations, or that provide technology that can significantly reduce energy consumption.
Raritan won the “Outstanding IT Product” category for its Power IQ® Energy Management Software and PX intelligent power distribution units (iPDUs) with plug-and-play environment sensors. Winners were announced at the Uptime Institute Symposium being held in New York City.
