AI is reshaping how infrastructure is designed, deployed, and consumed. As organizations race to build and scale AI capabilities, traditional cloud models are being supplemented by a new class of providers: the neocloud.

Understanding the Neocloud Concept

Unlike traditional enterprise environments, where workloads are more distributed and predictable, AI deployments concentrate compute resources within fewer, higher-density racks. This creates greater variability in power demand and tighter tolerances for thermal and performance management.

As a result, operators need greater visibility and control at the rack level. The ability to monitor power, identify imbalances, and respond quickly to changing conditions is essential to maintaining performance and uptime in these environments.
