To extend the connectivity, communication, and networking features of Raritan rack power managing devices, a line of USB-based interface modules is available.
Interface modules are designed for easy deployment with plug-and-play compatibility to a USB-A port on the Controller of a Xerus™-enabled managing device, including Raritan PX4 Rack PDUs, Inline Meters, Rack Transfer Switches, and Smart Rack Controllers.
Raritan also offers a full line of Computer Interface Modules (CIMs) to support various platforms and applications. Learn more here.
The DSER-PWR-USB-G4 is a microcontroller and USB to RJ45 adapter used to connect Serial Console Servers (e.g., Raritan SX2) to a USB-A port on a Xerus-enabled managing device. Its main use is to allow the Console Server to access the rack power device’s data and perform power control operations such as switching outlets on or off.
A DKX3-PWR-USB-G4 is a microcontroller and USB to RJ45 adapter used to connect KVM Switches (e.g., Raritan KX3) to a USB-A port on a Xerus-enabled managing device. Its main use is to allow the KVM Switch to access the rack power device’s data and perform power control operations such as switching outlets on or off.
A DSER-CLI-USB-G4 is a microcontroller and USB to RJ45 adapter used to connect Serial Access Modules (e.g., Raritan DSAM) to a USB-A port on a Xerus-enabled managing device. Its main use is to allow the DSAM to access the rack power device via a command line interface (CLI).
DSER-CLI-USB-G4-KIT includes a Cisco cable for a connection through a PC or a PC Serial port.
The USB-MOD-DONGLE provides a USB-A to MODBUS RTU connection to a USB-A port on a Xerus-enabled managing device to interface with third-party MODBUS RTU devices. The dongle allows you to pull data stored on a third-party device.
The DX2-WIFI-KIT is a USB Wi-Fi antenna that allows Xerus-enabled managing devices to connect to a Wi-Fi network. Its wireless LAN connection supports 2.4 and 5 GHz networks and 802.11ac/a/b/g/n standards.
