Raritan’s Dominion KSX II is a combined KVM-over-IP and Serial Console Server appliance. It provides secure, remote management to all servers, storage, routers, switches and rack PDU's in remote and branch offices. The KSX II offers award-winning, BIOS-level KVM-over-IP performance, true command-line serial console access and optional remote power control.

Serial Console Server
The KSX II enables true serial access of networking equipment, servers (UNIX®, Linux®, Sun®), rack PDU’s and other serial devices.
Virtual Media over-IP
Virtual media enables remote tasks, such as software installation, and remote booting and diagnostics, using an array of CD, DVD, USB, internal and remote drives and images.
Maximum KVM Compatibility
A suite of multi-platform CIMs connect to VGA, DVI, HMDI, DisplayPort, USB, PS/2, Sun® and serially controlled servers, as well as popular blade server models from leading manufacturers: HP®, IBM®, Dell® and Cisco®.
HD Video Resolution and Digital Audio

Computer Interface Module (CIM) for Dominion KSX II
A CIM is a “server dongle” that connects a PC, server or workstation to a device via a Cat5/6 cable. There are multiple types of CIMs to support the different types of computer ports (USB, PS/2, VGA, HDMI, DVI, DisplayPort, serial) and to perform features such as virtual media. Dominion KVM and Serial appliances, including SX II, KX III, KSX II and KX2-101-V2, integrate with Raritan’s CommandCenter Secure Gateway. With the CommandCenter management system, administrators can manage multiple Raritan devices. Users can access hundreds or thousands of computer and networking devices from a single, integrated system. If you own five or more Raritan appliances, you should consider CommandCenter for centralized management and access.
CommandCenter also provides Remote Power Control, access to VMware Virtual Machines and support of in-band access solutions such as RDP, VNC, SSH and service processors from leading computer manufacturers. CC-SG is a perfect complement to the Power IQ Power Management Solution and enables power control of devices connected to multi-vendor PDU’s managed by Power IQ.
