Application and Suggested Accessory
Get True Serial Access from KX III G2
Connect the Dominion Serial Access Modules (DSAM) to your KX III G2 USB ports and control up to 8 serial devices. The DSAM comes in 2 and 4 ports versions allowing management of serial devices like LAN switches, routers, and Linux/Unix servers.
High Performance Access
The KX III Enhanced User Station provides high performance IP access to servers connected to Dominion KX III G2 switches. It supports HD 1080p video sessions at 30 FPS with 50 ms latency, with simultaneous access to eight servers, dual monitors, audio and virtual media. It is perfect for broadcast, studios, control rooms, and labs.
Remote Power Control
Users can power up, down or cycle servers connected to optional Raritan PX power distribution units connected to the KX III G2 using a Cat5 cable and the KX III G2's Power CIM. System administrators can remotely power cycle a hung server with a click of the mouse.
At-the-Rack (Local) Access
The KX III's local port provides at-the-rack access to its connected servers through Raritan's T1700G2-LED & T1900-LED keyboard trays. In addition, with the MasterConsole Digital KVM switch (MCD), connect to servers attached to multiple KX III G2 switches.
Centralized Management
Multiple KX III switches can be managed by CommandCenter Secure Gateway, which provides IT admins and lab managers with a single point of remote access, control and management. CommandCenter consolidates multiple IP remote access technologies, including Dominion KX III G2 and SX II as well as RDP, VNC, and SSH.

The Dominion KX III G2 comes standard with a 2-year hardware warranty; optional 1 to 3 year extended protection is available. In addition, a "synchronized warranty" is also offered which is a single policy for multiple new and existing devices with one convenient expiration date.
