SANTA CLARA, CA (February 2, 2012) — At the annual Technology Convergence Conference being held here, Raritan will be presenting DCIM customer case studies and demonstrating its smart rack solutions that provide accurate, real-time information on infrastructure performance, so that customers can manage their data centers more efficiently and reduce costs.

Nabeel Mahmood, Director of Power Management Infrastructure at Raritan, will be speaking at 1 pm on “Show Your Data Center Who’s Boss - Intelligent Data Center Asset Management.”

During their latest data center expansion, Broadcom, the leading communications semiconductor manufacturer, found 10kW/cabinet to be an ideal design for sourcing and deploying racks in co-location environments. In this “best practices” presentation, Eastman and Hsu will discuss the electrical, cooling, planning, and DCIM monitoring tools deployed by Broadcom to optimize server placement for this “sweet spot.”
