Somerset, N.J. (March 11, 2013) – Raritan, a leading provider of data center infrastructure management (DCIM) and power monitoring solutions, announced today that two of its top channel executives have been recognized by UBM Tech Channel’s CRN Magazine.
Gary Marks, Raritan Senior Vice President of Global Sales and Marketing, has been named a CRN 2013 Channel Chief. This is the fifth consecutive year that Marks has received this prestigious honor. The annual list of the most influential and powerful leaders in the IT channel recognizes those executives directly responsible for driving channel sales and growth within their organization, while evangelizing and defending the importance of the channel throughout the entire IT Industry.
In a separate event earlier this year, Victoria Zona, Raritan Channel Sales Director, was recognized as a “Power 100 Woman of the Channel.” Zona has been on the influential CRN “Power 100” list for four consecutive years. An elite subset of CRN’s annual Women of the Channel list, the “Power 100” designation is awarded to the highest ranking women holding the most prominent channel-focused positions in a vendor or Solution Provider organization. According to CRN, these women have made a name for themselves as influential leaders within their own company, and the IT channel as a whole.
It is rewarding to see CRN recognize the tremendous value that both Gary and Vicki bring to Raritan, the channel and the industry,” said Peter Suriani, Senior Director of Marketing. “With their leadership and with support from our superb channel partners, we have advanced data center management efficiency. Together we are helping customers reduce power and cooling costs, better manage assets and capacity, and use more efficient methods to manage complex IT infrastructures and resources.”
“Our annual top Channel Executive lists recognize vendor executives dedicated to driving channel programs in the IT marketplace,” said Kelley Damore, Senior Vice President, Editorial Director, CRN. “Our annual Channel Leadership issues are a must-read for IT solution providers evaluating new vendors or looking to expand solution offerings. These are the people, the products and the programs that any savvy solution provider needs to know. We congratulate this year’s winners for their stellar record of business innovation and applaud them for their continued dedication to the partner community.”
