Raritan to Share Best Practices on Power Management and Intelligent Infrastructures

SOMERSET, NJ (September 15, 2015) — Raritan, a leading provider of data center management and rack intelligent power distribution solutions, will be sharing with AFCOM conference attendees the latest innovations in rack power and intelligent monitoring devices that are having a big impact on data center operations and efficiency.  AFCOM Data Center World will be held next week in National Harbor, MD.

Raritan customer Nu Skin Enterprises also will be presenting at the conference.  The skincare product giant gave its operations a makeover with a new, smart, and future-proofed data center designed and optimized to keep pace with the company’s growth.  Nu Skin’s 4,200-square-foot data center supports today’s higher densities and meets LEED requirements for decreased energy use. The team also added intelligent monitoring capabilities in the data center cabinets to keep tabs on power, cooling and humidity and on network, telecom, and server equipment health.  The session will explore: the factors that went into the build or not build decision, the new technologies used and how to closely monitor data center health.

In AFCOM Booth # 317 Raritan will share with attendees how to add intelligence to both existing and new data centers using PDUs, transfer switches and sensors.

• Discover how Raritan’s newest patent-pending hybrid Rack Transfer Switch makes transferring power loads more reliable. 
• New solutions for managing power in colocation environments will be shown, as well as environment sensors, KVM switches and other solutions for managing data center resources efficiently.

Sunbird Software, a Raritan partner, will be demonstrating in Raritan’s booth how DCIM software saves data centers CAPEX and OPEX.
