SOMERSET, NJ (February 23, 2011)  –  Raritan today announced that Gary Marks, Senior Vice President of Global Sales and Marketing, has been named a 2011 Channel Chief by Everything Channel’s CRN magazine for the third consecutive year.  Channel Chiefs are leaders in creating effective channel programs for solution providers.  They consistently defend, promote and execute effective channel partner programs and strategies.

Marks was recognized for expanding Raritan’s channel program and partner/alliance ecosystem; and, in supporting and assisting partners in growing their businesses by selling Raritan’s IT infrastructure solutions that address today’s data center challenges—including capacity and energy management, and operations uptime.  His leadership role in advancing Green IT in the industry was also recognized.

This year’s Channel Chiefs were chosen by the CRN editorial staff.  Applicants were judged based on policy and program innovations made during the past year, the amount of revenue their company generates through partners, their willingness to speak out publicly on behalf of the channel, and the number of years they have dedicated to channel activities.
