      Common Access Card Reader

      HSPD-12, issued by Homeland Security, requires all federal employees and contractors to use Common Access Card (CAC) technology when accessing federally controlled information systems. Our new Paragon II CAC solution now allows users to access IT equipment through KVM switches with a universal interface that's compliant with Smard Card technology.

      Selected Raritan products also support Federal Information Processing Standard 201 (FIPS 201). FIPS defines the standard for IT equipment use in federally administered data centers.
