More on Raritan’s Intelligent Rack Transfer Switch

The Intelligent Rack Transfer Switch uses a patent-pending hybrid design for fast and reliable load transfers from one power source to another.  It offers metering and the inlet, outlet, and branch circuit level, as well as outlet-level power switching.  Ideal for cloud computing infrastructures and data center racks filled with one-power-supply devices, the new switch is one of the fastest in the industry — twice as fast as standard automatic transfer switches — and one of the most reliable. For more visibility to the data center rack, many customers use Raritan’s DCIM software to analyze and monitor the power information gathered by the transfer switch, as well as the health of the power chain.

More on Raritan’s dcTrack DCIM Operations Software

Raritan’s dcTrack® DCIM Operations Software tracks and provides a visual mapping of data center assets, including IT and facilities devices.  A productivity boost, the Raritan DCIM solution shows how everything in the data center is physically connected down to the individual power port and NIC level.  As a result, users are able to quickly get answers to questions such as:  What assets do I have in my operations? Where are assets located? How are my devices configured and connected? How much power and space do I have in my cabinets?  The software’s powerful intelligent search feature automatically correlates power, space, and network capacity; just enter the make and model of a server and the software does the work.
