This cryptographic module has been validated by the Cryptographic Module Validation Program (CMVP) for FIPS 140-2 Security Requirements for Cryptographic Modules, and other FIPS cryptographic-based standards. It's the only KVM-over-IP switch that meets the requirements for any U.S. and Canadian federal agency mandated to use FIPS 140-2 cryptography.

What's more, the Dominion KX II supports the Common Access Card (CAC) server authentication required by Homeland Security Presidential Directive-12 (HSPD-12).
