– Dominion PX wins ‘Hardware Product of the Year’, and Power IQ Energy Management Software receives ‘Minister of Energy’ Runner-up Award –

LONDON (April 28, 2010) – Raritan today announced it has won the 2010 Green IT Award in the ‘Hardware Product of the Year’ category for its Dominion® PX intelligent power distribution unit (PDU), which helps data centers measure power usage accurately. In addition, the company’s Power IQ™ energy management software received a runner-up award in the ‘Minister of Energy’ category.

Winners of this year’s Green IT awards were announced at an awards ceremony held on Earth Day, April 22, in London. Sponsored by Green IT Magazine, the awards recognize the outstanding environmental products, suppliers and projects of 2009 and highlight the companies and teams that have made significant contributions to improving the IT industry’s environmental performance.

Power IQ collects and analyzes energy data of IT equipment connected to Raritan’s Dominion PX PDU and third-party Ethernet-enabled intelligent rack PDUs, as well as data center temperature and humidity.
