SOMERSET, N.J., and TOKYO (January 6, 2006) - Raritan - a leading provider of solutions for managing IT infrastructure - today announced that Kenji Inoue has been named President of Raritan Japan. Mr. Inoue will report to Tom Swift, President and Chief Operating Officer of Raritan, and will oversee all aspects of Raritan Japan’s operations.
Mr. Inoue has vast experience in managing IT companies that sell their products using an indirect business model. As Director of SDRC's Japanese operation, for example, he built a strong professional team and established long-term business relationships with distributors and resellers in Japan. As a result, SDRC's PLM system became the number one selling system in Japan.
"We are delighted to have Kenji Inoue join Raritan. This is a key position in our organization because Japan is the second largest IT and KVM market in the world," said Swift. "Inoue-san's experience and knowledge in business management will be a tremendous asset. As the head of our Japanese organization, he will help us deliver our solutions into that market to advance our leadership position in enterprise-class KVM."
Mr. Inoue also has held senior-level positions with other global technology companies, including Computervision, GE Calma, Intergraph and IBM. "I look forward to working for Raritan Japan to further its leadership position in IT infrastructure management solutions by working together with our business partners and customers in Japan," said Inoue. Mr. Inoue holds a B.S. degree from Osaka City University.
