Benefits at Raritan

At Raritan it is as important to us to create value for our employees as it is to create value for our customers and shareholders. Below is a list of the benefits available to all full-time Raritan employees:

Health Insurance
Our health insurance carrier is a PPO plan with two rate options that provides in-network and out-of-network coverage. Employees are eligible to join the health insurance plan the first of the month following their date of hire.

Dental Insurance
Our dental insurance carrier provides the highest level of coverage for employees who use in-network providers. Employees are eligible to join the dental plan the first of the month following their date of hire.

Vision Insurance
Our vision insurance carrier provides the highest level of coverage for employees who use in-network providers. Employees are eligible to join the vision plan the first of the month following their date of hire.

Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA)
Our FSA carrier provides savings accounts for both Health Care and Dependent Care.  Employees are eligible to join the FSA plan the first of the month following their date of hire.

Short Term Disability
Raritan provides company-paid short-term disability coverage for all full-time employees. This plan pays 66% of your weekly earnings beginning on week 2 until week 26 of the disability. The benefit amount is integrated with social security disability income and/or state disability and coverage begins the first of the month following the employee's date of hire.

Long-Term Disability
Raritan provides company-paid long-term disability coverage for all full-time employees. This plan pays 60% of your base salary beginning on week 27 until age 65. The benefit amount is integrated with social security disability income and coverage begins the first of the month following the employee's date of hire.

Life and AD&D Insurance
Raritan provides company-paid life and AD&D insurance coverage for all F/T employees equal to one times their annual base salary. Coverage begins the first of the month following date of hire.

401(k) Retirement Plan
Raritan provides a generous 401(k) plan for its employees and will match 50% of the salary deducted up to $2000 each year. Employees are eligible to join the plan at the beginning of the calendar quarter after two months of employment.

Tuition Reimbursement
Raritan encourages employees to continue their education after joining us. After six months of employment, employees are eligible to receive 50% of tuition costs, up to $2000 each year for coursework towards a degree program and towards subjects related to their jobs.

New Jersey Manufacturers Insurance
Raritan is a member of the New Jersey Business & Industry Association. All employees are eligible to obtain quotes for discounted auto and homeowners insurance.
