Concordant, Raritan and CMP Partner to Address the Evolution of Compliance, Delivered via Live Webcast

-- 'Regulatory Compliance: Short-term Technology Tactics and the Migration to Effective Strategies' to take place on Sept. 15, 2005 at 2 p.m. EDT --

BOSTON and SOMERSET, N.J. -- (BUSINESS WIRE) — Sept. 8, 2005 -- Concordant, Inc., Raritan Inc., and CMP Media LLC, are convening a live webcast to address the changing compliance needs of organizations, beyond short-term solutions. The interactive session, "Regulatory Compliance: Short-term Technology Tactics and the Migration to Effective Strategies," will be held on Sept. 15, 2005, at 2 p.m. EDT (11 a.m. PDT, 1 p.m. CDT). The webcast is based on a white paper authored by Sean Megley, Practice Director of Regulatory Compliance at Concordant, and one of the featured speakers for the event.

"The compliance culture in most organizations starts with technology and matures over time to integrate compliance needs into all business processes," said Megley. "However, the more balanced approach is to find technology solutions that are capable of adapting to organizations' constantly changing regulatory needs."

George Heaslip, Sales Manager, Systems and Network Management Solutions at Raritan, will also be a featured speaker. Topics Heaslip will discuss include: How new IT infrastructure management tools provide efficient and inexpensive discovery, monitoring and management capabilities; IT service management tools, combined with compliance lifecycle processes, as the foundation upon which businesses evolve their compliance culture and procedures; and relevant and timely new strategies to help businesses prepare for regulatory requirements, such as Sarbanes-Oxley, HIPAA, GLBA (Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act) compliance; or FDA approvals.

"IT infrastructure management and compliance requirements are key concerns for small, mid-size and enterprise-class businesses. As part of Raritan's ongoing commitment to our customers and resellers, we are pleased to join Concordant and CMP in hosting this information exchange on this important and timely subject," said Richard Moscioni, Raritan's Vice President, Sales -- Americas.

The moderator for the webcast will be CMP's Lou Bertin.

All webcast attendees will receive a free copy of the white paper: "Tactical Solutions and Compliance Management Strategies for Regulatory Requirements," and those who attend the entire event and complete the feedback form will be entered to win a four-port SwitchMan® USB -- Raritan's desktop KVM (Keyboard, Video and Mouse) switch designed to unclutter desktops by managing PCs, Macintoshes, printers, scanners and other USB-supported peripherals from one KVM console.
